Ancestry in Depth: Using Ancestry Effectively In-Person
Ancestry in Depth: Using Ancestry Effectively
presented by B. J. Jamieson
Ancestry is an excellent resource for family history, but it can be daunting to learn how to make the most of it and its many features. Join B.J. Jamieson as she explains how to navigate and use Ancestry.com. This workshop is focused on Ancestry but most of the techniques covered also work at the other big genealogy websites: FamilySearch, MyHeritage, FindMyPast.
B.J. Jamieson is a professional genealogist who has spoken to regional, national, and international audiences. She holds an M.S. in library science from Clarion University as well as a postgraduate certificate in genealogy from the University of Strathclyde. Videos of programs she's done are available at https://www.youtube.com/@mainegenealogy.com.
